Before judging a campaign, check what is being counted.
Plireo does not use Google Analytics 4 as another dashboard. It reads how measurement is set up, to answer one question before any other: can the conversions behind this analysis be trusted?
Most bad advertising decisions start with a number that was wrong.
A campaign whose conversions fall to zero overnight has rarely stopped working. More often a tag was removed in a site release, a key event was renamed, or the link between the analytics property and the ad account was broken.
Acting on that number is worse than not acting: budgets are cut on campaigns that were performing, and bidding strategies learn from an empty signal.
So Plireo reads the measurement configuration and puts it next to the advertising figures. When measurement is in doubt, the analysis says so and stops short of a conclusion about performance.
Configuration and event counts. Not your audience.
The permission asked from Google is read-only. A grant that came back with a right to edit would be refused before anything is stored.
| In a GA4 property | Read by Plireo | What it is used for |
|---|---|---|
| Property and web data streams | Yes | Knowing which site the measurement belongs to |
| Key events | Yes | Knowing what the business counts as a conversion |
| Event counts | Yes | Seeing whether a key event is still being counted |
| Links to Google Ads | Yes | Checking that the property feeds the right ad account |
| Sessions, acquisition, revenue | No | Not read |
| Individual users or their journeys | No | Not read |
From a suspicious zero to the right question.
Conversions drop to zero
Clicks and cost are unchanged.
The key event counts nothing
“purchase”: 0 events over the same days.
Names it a tracking question
A step in conversions with stable clicks is a tracking question first.
Recommends a check
Verify the tag before touching bids or budgets.
Decide
Agreed, with your reason. No change is prepared.
Fictitious data. Plireo reads one property per advertiser, the one an approver assigned to it.
