Platform · Advertising Memory

Your accounts change. The reasons should stay.

An ad account shows its current state. It rarely shows why it is in that state. Advertising Memory is the capability, in development, that Plireo is building to keep both.

Why it matters

The knowledge of an account lives in people's heads.

Why was this campaign's budget cut in March? Why is that keyword excluded? Who decided to stop the brand campaign, and on what evidence? In most organisations the answer is a person, and that person may have left, or the account may have moved to another agency.

The platforms keep part of the trace. Google Ads lists the changes of the past two years in its interface; through its API, change events can be read for the past 30 days. Neither says why a change was made.

Advertising Memory starts from the other end: the decision. What was observed, what was proposed, who agreed or refused, with which reason, and what was known about the business at that moment.

What it is made of

Four layers, and a fifth that is planned.

Each layer exists in a different state today. The status beside it comes from the registry.

Decisions and changes made outside Plireo are not part of this memory.

Who it serves

The same memory answers three different questions.

The advertiser who changes agency

“What was tried on my account, and why was it stopped?” The history is designed to belong to the account, not to whoever managed it.

The agency that takes over

“What must I not undo in the first week?” Past decisions and the business context are readable before the first change.

The group that audits

“Who approved this, and on what evidence?” The answer is a line in a record, not an e-mail thread.

Questions about Advertising Memory

Is Advertising Memory available?

It is in development. Some parts already exist in Plireo, such as the history of the figures read from connected accounts and the record of decisions; the capability as a whole will open with the product.

Does it record changes made directly in Google Ads or Meta?

No. It keeps what Plireo reads from the accounts and what is decided in Plireo. Changes made elsewhere are not imported.

How long is the history kept?

Retention periods are not decided yet and will be stated in the terms before launch. Plireo makes no promise of unlimited retention.

Who owns the history when an agency is replaced?

The design principle is that the history follows the advertising account. How it applies between organisations, in particular for Meta data, is still being settled and is not offered today.

Early access

Be among the first to use Plireo.

Plireo is in pre-launch. Request early access to be told when it opens, or apply to take part in private testing. Access opens gradually, so a request does not mean immediate access.

Paid plans open once the Google Ads, Meta, GA4 and GTM integrations are operationally validated.
